New Sony NEX-VG10 Rules!
by admin on Sep.07, 2010, under Film Production
Ever since Sony says HD gonna take over the place for Film, the production industry has been focus on the “film” replacement camera.
Red One is popular, 5D MARK II is popular, Sony hasn’t been able to offer a decent solution for the same level of camcoder, now they have one: SONY NEX- VG10.
It’s pretty impressive when you see the tech info:
interchangeable-lens video camera; 1920-by-1080 AVCHD video capture; 24mbps bit rate for video capture; Exmor APS HD CMOS; E-Mount lenses; 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 zoom lens; 1.5X focal length; 14-megapixel still images and offers a 7-frame-per-second burst mode; 97x132x294mm; 1.3kg
The E-Mount Lenses thingy allows you to use the Sony DSLR camera lense and fit on the camera, so you can simply create those nice effect for a more reasonable price.
What do you think of the future would be then? Tell us what’s the best camera you like to use and what’s the best thing about it.
